CHAD 159 - Child Development K-8 Practicum

Principles, techniques, observation and participation in the guidance of elementary and middle school children. Note: Course requires 5 hours per week of non-paid fieldwork in a public school classroom (K to 8th). Middle school placements must be in a self-contained or core classroom. Practicum sites usually require proof of a TB test (within one year) and a background check.

Lecture 1 hours/Lab 6 hours.

Prerequisite(s): CHAD 60 or instructor consent.
