Advising Roadmap
This program is pending Chancellor’s Office approval.
The Special Session Bachelor’s in Information Science and Data Analytics (ISDA) is a two-year transfer program.
The major preparation courses ISDA 20A , 20B , 20C , 20D , and STAT 95 or MATH 30 must be taken prior to starting the ISDA major. They may be met by taking equivalent courses per extant MOUs with the community college systems or by taking these courses at SJSU.
The program roadmap begins after these courses have been taken. Accelerated SAGE Timeline: Approximately 3 years (2 years undergraduate + 1 year graduate) following entry into the Special Session ISDA program. This roadmap reflects the accelerated SAGE pathway beginning after entry into the Special Session ISDA program. It assumes all prerequisite and lower-division coursework has been completed prior to enrollment. As a result, this timeline does not represent total time to degree from initial college entry, which may vary depending on transfer preparation and completion of lower-division requirements.
