Dual Admission Program Between SJSU and Rural or Local Community Colleges
The Nursing, Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) ADN to BSN is a joint program between Rural or Local Community Colleges and The Valley Foundation School of Nursing in which students are concurrently enrolled in both. The CEP program allows students to complete an Associate Degree in Nursing, apply and sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Nurses (NCLEX-RN), and complete post licensure nursing content and upper division general education courses to earn a BS Nursing. *Courses marked with an asterisk may be taken in a different semester than listed.

*Courses marked with an asterisk may be taken in a different semester than listed. Lower division courses should generally be taken in years 1-2, and upper division courses in years 3-4. SJSU = 27 Nursing Units + 3 Upper Division GE (Area 3) Units = Total 30 units Post Bacc students do not need Area 3 but will need 30 units in residency at SJSU to graduate. NURS 178 includes Area 4, NURS 172 includes GE UD Area 2/5 . |
