The BA - Mathematics, offered by the , is recommended for students who enjoy problem solving and would like to apply problem solving skills along with communication and analyzing skills in a future career. This degree also provides an excellent background for graduate work in mathematics and other disciplines including law and medicine as well as engineering and science.
The degree requires 30 upper division units of mathematics and computer science. If upper division mathematics and computer science requirements are satisfied using lower division transferred courses, then additional upper division math courses will need to be taken to obtain the required number of upper division units.
