The Minor in Broadcast Meteorology, offered by the  in collaboration with the , is designed to prepare students from both STEM- and non-STEM majors to solve interdisciplinary problems involving the meteorology, climate and atmospheric sciences. Students will learn to prepare and present a professional weathercast with emphasis on communication skills, computer graphics, and on-camera delivery. Broadcast meteorology combines passions in weather, communications, technology applications, and reporting. Students in the minor will build meteorological knowledge and communication skills, which are essential for broadcast meteorology.
