PSYC 100 - Community Learning and Leadership 3 unit(s) Course explores social science theory and research related to building and maintaining healthy communities and civic engagement in a democratic society. Using the interdisciplinary framework of Community Psychology, the course focuses on the field of constructive dialogue and includes pair, small group, and community based activities as opportunities for applied learning.
Satisfies UD Area: 4. Self, Society, and Equality in the U.S. (Formerly Area S).
Prerequisite(s): Completion of Core General Education and upper division standing are prerequisites to all UD GE courses. Completion of, or co-registration in, 100W is strongly recommended. Grading: Letter Graded.
