MUED 14B - Lab Ensemble

Lab Ensemble is a course designed to help pre-professional music educators gain tools for teaching a variety of ensembles in public schools. Students will gain teaching experience through running rehearsal on a daily basis. The ensemble will be made up of their peers who will take turns playing for and conducting rehearsal for each other. Topics to be explored will include ensemble literature appropriate for a variety of levels and learning styles, music ensemble rehearsal techniques and methodologies, and conducting techniques.

Activity 2 hours.

Course may be repeated for up to 8 units.

Grading: Letter Graded
