INFO 235 - Information Organization and Collection Management in School 3 unit(s) This course meets the California Commission on Teaching Credential Standard 4 for Teacher Librarians, Information and Knowledge. Students will learn to model and promote ethical and equitable access to physical, digital, and virtual collections. Students will learn how to manage school library collections and the policies and procedures that guide this management, including copy cataloging, vendor relations, and collection analysis, maintenance, and laws guiding K12 student and parent access and privacy.
Prerequisite(s): INFO 200 , INFO 202 , INFO 203 , and INFO 250 . Grading: AB-/No Credit Graduate
