COMM 167 - Climate Change Communication, Culture and Power 3 unit(s) Global climate change is a fundamental crisis of our time. This course explores how climate change impacts and solutions are shaped by culture, communication and power. Students will analyze how climate change is understood and experienced across diverse cultural contexts and investigate the power of intercultural communication in shaping climate action.
Satisfies Satisfies UD Area: 3. Cultures and Global Understanding (Formerly Area V).
Prerequisite(s): Completion of Core General Education and upper division standing are prerequisites to all UD GE courses. Completion of, or co-registration in, 100W is strongly recommended. Grading: Letter Graded
