MUSC 169 - Electroacoustic Music III-Advanced Sonic Systems 3 unit(s) Advanced study of digital synthesis, live signal processing, and algorithmic composition as applied to electroacoustic music. Students design and implement custom synthesis architectures, real-time audio processing systems, and generative compositional frameworks using contemporary digital tools. Emphasis on system design, spectral techniques, and integration of compositional structure with digital signal processing. Culminates in a substantial original project for performance or fixed media with supporting technical documentation.
Prerequisite(s): MUSC 168 . Grading: Letter Graded
Note(s): Student must have successfully completed MUSC 167 and MUSC 168 in order to enroll in this course.
