EE 140 - Principles of Electromagnetic Fields

Maxwell’s Equations and their analytic applications in static and dynamic time-varying electromagnetic fields using vector calculus. Lab experiments involve design and simulation of high frequency electromagnetic components on PCBs using  software and characterizing them using a Vector Network Analyzer.

Lecture 2 hours/ Lab 3 hours.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 52 , EE 110 , and EE 110L  all with grades of “C-” or better. Allowed Declared Major: Electrical Engineering.
Grading: Letter Graded
