Students engage mindfully and experientially through live performance, listening practices, and interactive study of women and LGBTQ artists, global pop innovators, and traditional instruments from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Music’s power for transcendence and social change is examined through the lenses of diversity, equity, inclusion, and migration.
