EDTE 194 - Computer Practice and Programming 3 unit(s) In-depth introduction to programming through a survey of three programming languages: Scratch, MakeCode, and Python. Teachers develop a broad range of expertise, see how block and text-based languages work together, and learn how computer science can be used as a tool to deepen engagement with classroom content. Final project addresses how to use computer science concepts to address problems that are relevant to teachers’ schools and communities.
Course can be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite(s): EDTE 193 Grading: Letter Graded
