CS 224 - Next Generation Sequencing & Genome Assembly 3 unit(s) Genomic concepts and methods with a focus on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) are presented. The practice and methods of collecting, analyzing, and assembling DNA and RNA sequences using de novo and reference-based methods along with variant calling are also presented.
Prerequisite(s): and MATH 162 or CS 156 or CS 171 , or instructor consent. Graduate Standing. Allowed Declared Major: Computer Science, Bioinformatics, and Data Science. Grading: Letter Graded
