EDLD 250 - Emancipatory Pedagogy in Higher Education 3 unit(s) Explores theories and practices of teaching as a practice of freedom that strives for a stronger, flourishing democracy in which all people can meaningfully participate. Emancipatory pedagogy engages with students holistically and in mutualistic relations toward the shared construction of knowledge and dismantling of oppressive systems.
