Self-similar solutions for laminar boundary layers: Blasius solution and Falkner-Skan flows. Explicit finite difference methods for the solution of incompressible, laminar boundary layers with and without external pressure gradients. Compressible, boundary layers: general solutions, self-similar solutions in supersonic and hypersonic flow regimes. Turbulent boundary layers: transition, universal law of the wall, turbulence models.
