Capstone course in the BA Biological Science degree. Critical reading of scientific literature, experimental design and scientific communication skills will be emphasized. Topics covered may vary for a given semester.

Satisfies SJSU Studies R: Earth, Environment, and Sustainability.

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, BIOL 55 or BIOL 155 or equivalent biostatistics course; BIOL 115 or BIOL 118; BIOL 100W (all with grade of “C” or better); at least 6 units of upper division biology electives; and senior standing. Must be a declared Biology Major (all). Completion of Core General Education and upper division standing are prerequisites to all SJSU studies courses.
Grading: Letter Graded

Note(s): All of SJSU Studies courses require completion of the WST and upper division standing.
