Focuses on drug prototypes from major drug categories. Emphasizes the pharmacodynamics, calculations, nursing assessments and interventions of drugs commonly prescribed.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to nursing program. BIOL 65, BIOL 66, CHEM 30A, MICR 20, ENGL 1A, COMM 20, STAT 95, (all with grades of “C” or better).
Corequisite(s): NURS 23, NURS 33, NURS 53; completion of core GE.
