Practice in improvement of writing and research skills appropriate to the field of sociology, including formal reports, journals and articles.

Satisfies Writing in the Disciplines (WID).

Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1; A3 or equivalent second semester composition course (with a grade of C- or better); completion of core GE; and upper division standing. Or Graduate or Postbaccalaureate level. Allowed Declared Majors: Sociology; Behavioral Science; Chicana Chicano Studies; Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and Asian American Studies.
Grading: Letter Graded.

Note(s): Required for Sociology Majors. Must be passed with C or better to satisfy the CSU Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR).
