FS 175 - Firearm and Toolmark Evidence Analysis 3 unit(s) Surveys the methods employed in the forensic examination of firearms, ammunition, and other types of toolmarks, as well as the history of firearms and ammunition, their different types, and the evidentiary value of firearm and toolmark evidence as it relates to criminal investigations. Lectures and lab exercises familiarize students with the different types of testing and equipment used to examine this type of evidence.
