BME 217 - Experimental and Computational Biofluid Mechanics 3 unit(s) Introduction to blood rheology, cardiovascular fluid mechanics, blood flow dynamics in blood vessels and in proximity of implanted cardiovascular devices, airflow in the lungs, and other physiological flow phenomena. Healthy and diseased states will be considered. Students will familiarize with both experimental and computational approaches to measure physiological flows.
Prerequisite(s): BME 117 and BME 210 and Graduate standing; or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
