HUM 2B - Humanities Honors - Global Revolutions, the US & the Future 6 unit(s) Explores the legal history and influence of constitutional power at the federal and state levels. Structure, function, and polities of the Supreme Court, Congress, and Presidency through an examination of federalism, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights; the role of public opinion, elections, political parties, foreign policy, the experience of race/ethnicity, gender, and class in the American experience. Examines the relationship and inspiration of the American revolution and democratic ideals on revolutions throughout the world.
Lecture 3 hours/Seminar 3 hours.
