EDTE 212 - Critical Literacy Leadership Practicum

This practicum offers candidates the opportunity to develop their literacy leadership stance. Candidates will work collaboratively with colleagues in schools to design and lead Communities of Practice specific to literacy curriculum, instructional methodologies, and culturally and linguistically sustaining practices. Additionally, candidates will design and lead a more formal professional development session specific to school site needs. They will explore and meet with community resources and families to develop understanding of the ways their literacy leadership might expand.
