MS 261 - Mixing, Estaurine and Sediment Transport 4 units The mathematical description of the distribution of properties (density, dissolved oxygen, etc.) in the oceans relating to physical and biochemical processes. Equations of motion, geotropic method, and theory of distribution of variables.
Misc/Lab: Lecture 3 hours; lab/field work 3 hours.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing; MS 142 and college physics strongly recommended, or instructor consent. Grading: Graded
