MATE 265 - Principles of Nanomaterials 3 units The fundamental properties of nanomaterials including thermodynamic, mechanical, electrical, magnetic, optical and biochemical properties and synthesis and characterization. Applications including nanomaterials for structural composites, memory and logic devices, clean renewable energy technologies, bio materials in drug delivery, and aerospace applications.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1A , EE 98 , MATH 33A , PHYS 51 , MATE 25 , and MATE 153 . Grading: Graded
