BIOL 156 - Ecological Sampling Design and Analyses 3 units Sampling design and statistical analysis of biological patterns. In this course, students design and execute a field experiment (one required weekend field trip) that incorporates multivariate measurements. Students analyze the data with Log Linear analysis, Logistic Regression, Principal Components Analysis, Canonical Correlation and various Regression techniques.
Lecture 2 hours/Lab 3 hours.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 113 or BIOL 114 (with a grade of “C” or better), or instructor consent. Must be a declared Biology or Environmental Studies or Business Majors (all). Grading: Graded
