Major students are expected to have taken the equivalent of one year of a foreign language FREN 1A and FREN 1B at SJSU) in high school or at a community college.

* FREN 25A and FREN 25B fulfill the 6-units requirement for core GE area 3B.

** American Institutions requirement may be satisfied by certain core GE courses (4+US1, 4+US23).

***Writing in the Disciplines (FORL 100W ) satisfies the Written Communication II requirement.
