Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 3 Early Childhood Education (PK-3 ECE) Specialist Credential

Pending final approval by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing - Anticipated Launch is Summer 2024

The PK-3 ECE Specialist Credential Program is offered by the Department of Teacher Education in collaboration with the Department of Child and Adolescent Development and the Department of Special Education .

Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement

At SJSU, students must pass the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) . The requirement is satisfied with EDTE 208 in this program.
