The advanced certificates in taxation provide in-depth study of topics to help a tax practitioner advance in his/her career or develop a specialization. The coursework supplements prior graduate study in the tax area, in essence, serving as a post-Master’s program.

Certificate Requirements (9 units)

Complete three courses from below in consultation with MST program director.

BUS 225C - International Tax - US Corporations with Foreign Activities 3 units
BUS 225D - International Tax - Individuals and Foreign Corporations 3 units
BUS 225P - Advanced International Tax - US Corporations 3 units
BUS 225U - Fundamentals of Transfer Pricing 3 units
BUS 225X - International Taxation - US and Foreign Individuals 3 units
BUS 227C - Tax Symposium 1 units (3 units required)
