The Department of Geology offers a baccalaureate minor to supplement a major in some fields. The geology minor consists of at least 15 units, at least six of which must be upper division courses, selected in consultation with the geology advisor.

University Graduation Requirements

To be awarded a minor, at least 12 units of coursework must be completely distinct and separate from the coursework in the major (University Policy S16-4).
