Overview
In addition to the traditional engineering majors, the College of Engineering offers a degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering, BS (IDE) and an Engineering, MS . Both the BS and MS programs encompass interdisciplinary study. The IDE program also offers minors in Green Engineering , Applied Computing for Behavioral and Social Sciences , and Innovation and Law .

SJSU Online
The mission of SJSU Online is to expand higher education access and degree attainment for learners requiring a fully online degree pathway. These upper division degree completion programs are offered through a special session that requires a separate application process. Spartan Accelerated Graduate Education (SAGE) Scholars
Spartan Accelerated Graduate Education (SAGE) Programs programs are combined bachelor’s and master’s programs at SJSU (per University Policy F19-1). Sometimes they may also satisfy the requirements for a credential. Students in these programs pursue a bachelor’s and master’s degree simultaneously. These program allow students to earn graduate credit while in their junior and/or senior year, reducing the number of semesters required for completion of a master’s degree.
