Accreditation

San José State University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) - 1001 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 402, Alameda, CA 94501, 510-748-9001, one of the six major regional college accreditation agencies in the United States; the California State Board of Education; and by a number of other agencies in special fields. The Teacher Education programs of the University also are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
