HIST 138 - Chinese Communism 1921-1976 4 unit(s) Explores politics, economics, and people’s daily lives in Communist China from 1949-1976 through material culture, movies, and scholarship, paying particular attention to the ways in which ordinary lives intertwined with politics under the rule of Chairman Mao Zedong and the Chinese Communist Party.
