ANI 171 - Lighting and Compositing 3 unit(s) In Lighting and compositing for animation and visual effects students will study and apply professional digital lighting techniques as a critical narrative element in full CGI and VFX films. Students will become proficient in industry-standard techniques in look development, lighting, compositing, rendering, color correction and color grading; using tools like Maya, Arnold, Nuke and Premiere.
Prerequisite(s): Instructor Consent, Passage of Mid-Program Portfolio Review. Allowed Declared Majors: Animation/Illustration. Grading: Letter Graded.
