ART 131 - Clay in Context: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Ceramics 3 unit(s) Seminar explores clay as both a material and cultural phenomenon, bridging art, design, science, and the humanities. Students will investigate ceramics through hands-on experimentation, critical readings, discussions, and collaborative projects. No prior ceramic experience is required; instead, students will engage with clay as a medium for research, problem-solving, and creative expression.
