GERO 265 - Seminar in Cognitive Disorders 3 unit(s) Establishes a level of advanced competency in the knowledge of acquired cognitive-communication disorders of attention, memory and executive function, their neurological underpinnings, along with hands-on learning of assessment and treatment methods across a variety of etiologies with emphasis on culturally competent care, interprofessional practice, and counseling clients and their families.
Prerequisite(s): MS-SLP major, or instructor consent. Grading: Letter Graded
