Design and analysis of data structures and algorithms. Advanced trees, heaps, hash tables, and graphs. Greedy and dynamic programming algorithm design techniques. Advanced algorithms such as FFT, Flow, CRT, optimization, approximation and randomized algorithms.

Prerequisite(s): CMPE 126, and either ISE 130 or MATH 161A (with grades of “C-” or better). Computer Engineering or Software Engineering Majors Only.
