Examines the principles and practices used to design, analyze, and manage processes that transform inputs into goods and services in manufacturing and service organizations. Through analytical tools, case discussions, and problem-solving exercises, explores the strategic role of operations and its integration with other business functions. Topics include process design and analysis, capacity planning, quality management, inventory control, and data-driven decision making in operations.

Prerequisite(s): Upper division standing.
