EE 176 - Computer Architecture and Organization 3 unit(s) Course introduces the principles of computer organization and the basic architecture concepts. The course emphasizes performance and cost analysis, instruction set design, addressing modes, processor arithmetic, processor data and control path, pipelining, data and control hazard, parallelism, memory technology, memory hierarchy and management, and I/O systems.
Prerequisite(s): EE 120 with a grade of “C-” or better. Grading: Letter Graded.
