BME 68 - Biomedical Applications of Metals and Ceramics

Fundamentals of the structure, processing, and properties of metals and ceramics used in medical technology. Emphasis is placed on using metals and ceramics for implantable and non-implantable biomedical devices. Recent trends in biomaterials are explored.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1A, MATH 31 or MATH 31X, PHYS 50.
