BIOL 31 - Principles of Biology II


4 units
The diversity of life and the mechanisms by which that diversity has arisen. Concepts include: scientific method, origins of life, adaptation of organisms to different environments, ecology, and evolution.

Lecture 3 hours/Lab 3 hours

Satisfies B1 + B3: Physical + Lab Science.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 30  (with a grade of “C-” or better for all Biology majors). Must be majoring in Biology (all), Biomedical Eng, Biochemistry, Forensic Science (all), Environmental Studies (all), Nutritional Science, Meteorology - Climate Science Concentration, Kinesiology, Computer Science, and Communicative Disorders. 
Grading: Letter Graded.
