MATH 134 - Ord. Diff. Eqns and Dynamical Systems 3 units First order differential equations and phase lines. Linear systems. Phase portraits. Classification of planar linear systems. Existence and uniqueness of solutions. Flows. Stability of equilibria and periodic orbits. Applications in the physical sciences and engineering.
