CHE 190 - Introduction to Transport Phenomena

Introduction to thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Basic thermodynamics with first and second laws. Laminar and turbulent flow of incompressible fluids. Boundary layer analysis. Convection and steady state and transient conduction.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 51 (with a grade of “C-” or better); MATH 133A; CHEM 1B, CE 99
